Neha Dhupia - Proof - no - "With everyone coming down hard on smoking on screen and off screen, we were a little taken aback when we learnt that Neha Dhupia was actually puffing away to glory. The actress, who doesn't smoke in real life, actually took up the nicotine stick for the sake of her next film. We wondered if this was Neha's way of protesting against the intended ban on on-screen smoking. 'No way. We shot that part in [Siskiyaan (2005)] even before the ban on smoking on screen was contemplated,' negated Neha. 'I had a tough time doing the scenes because I am a non-smoker in real life. So I was coughing away to glory on the sets. And every time I went for dubbing, my voice used to sound husky. I don't recommend smoking to anybody.
