"Smokes unfiltered cigarettes several times in the movie, usually snapping quite nicely -- probably about five or six times. One of these snaps is huge, but shot from a medium distance. The piece de resistance is a fantastic open-mouth inhale -- rich, slow and voluptuous, with wide open mouth, frontally shot and relatively close -- easily one of the best inhales captured on a mainstream movie. This takes place about two-thirds into the film. I saw this picture twenty years ago and I still remember it vividly. Montiel was only twenty-five years old at the time. She looked great back then. She smokes very well in at least two or three other movies from that time period, but I can't remember which ones they were."
