"This is the kind of movie that they just don't make anymore. The two female leads (Watts and Lynch) are simply accepted as women who smoke, and nothing in the plot makes a big deal about this. When Lynch and Watts smoke, they are not 'performing,' they are (in character) merely 'behaving.' Oh, I wish they still made movies like this! Naomi especially is just SO beautiful! The first time I saw this, on late-night cable, I just knew she was going to be a big star. And that was at least a year before her roles in 'Mullholland Drive' or 'The Ring.' Naiomi is, at least concievably, the most beautiful and perfect woman who has ever lived!"
