"Playing an angry teenager in a pretty good horror film, the attractive Emily Meade has only one smoking scene but it's a very good one. In the girls' bathroom at school, she smokes impatiently and powerfully, which fits her character. She lights up, has an inhale and exhale in profile, then a couple of fairly thick exhales seen well even as the editor cuts between her and the girl she's talking to. These exhales include a talking exhale and a bit of a nose exhale. In one other shot, she somehow looks a bit inexperienced holding, but her inhales and exhales are clearly IRL."
