Earlier in the film Xenia lights up in scene that's difficult to describe; she's in the lower right corner of the screen and she lights up and takes a two puffs, but the footage is run backwards (last thing she does is light the cig she's been smoking). There's another scene where Xenia lights up a big, ugly joint with a birthday cake candle and does one large, shallow exhale. Moresco uses a holder throughout, but just holds and is playing a deglamorized drunk anyway."
