"Countless scenes from both actresses in this film set in a mental hospital ward. Ryder smokes French cigarettes constantly through the first 2/3 or so, while Jolie smokes throughout the whole film, often holding the cigarette in her teeth between drags. At one point they take turns blowing smoke into the face of an apparently catatonic woman. Actually, pretty much every actress in the film smokes. The lighting and editing aren't always the best, but the quantity is overwhelming."
