"Alicia Witt has 1 or 2 unconvincing drags. Madonna holds in a few scenes and has a cigarette dangling between her lips somewhere, but no drag or exhale anywhere. The only real smoking is the work of Jennifer Beals who has never looked better in a movie, mostly doing some holding, but she has a very enjoyable lighting up scene with a delicious long mouth exhale at some point."

"Actually the reviewer might have been thinking of the light-up scene for the woman in the final scene. According to Wikipedia this is Tamlyn Tomita. There is a light-up and a close-up of her exhale. Didn't notice her holding before or after that light-up, however."
