| En la ciudad (2003) | aka In the City. Mónica López, Leonor Watling "The willowy blonde Lopez really shines in this one. After we see her holding at the breakfast table in her first scene, she really goes at it in a restaurant about six minutes in, lighting up with flair at the beginning of the scene and taking 3 or 4 hard drags, with noisy inhales to her toes, as the scene continues. The lighting is terrific, highlighting both the drifting smoke from her cigarette and her forceful, lengthy, ultra-thick exhales. She has three other good scenes scattered throughout the film as well. Watling drags/exhales in a sunlit café and holds in bed in one brief scene with invisible smoke, but Lopez is the star of this show. Great stuff."
