She has nine further scenes: dragging, lighting a Silk Cut in bed after sex, drawing frantically on a cigarette that is already practically down to its filter, dangling as she writes her diary. She, Haywood, and Staton puff in the office smoking room beneath a poster warning about the effects of smoking, but it all looks contrived and unconvincing."
