"Shirley (as Coco at age 70 and beyond, ca. mid 1950s) smokes cork-tipped cigarettes constantly throughout her scenes, dangling her cigarettes whenever she has anything to do with her hands. Barbara (as young Coco) emerges as a smoker about halfway through the flashback portions of the movie, and quickly evolves into a constant smoker of non-filters (true to the era), inhaling believably."
