For a few scenes Wilhoite dangles an unlit cigarette though acts as if it were lit. Gable has three or four scenes with a cigar. In the first she puffs on it with a couple of mouthfuls blown out. In the rest she has it clenched in her mouth, even neck deep in a river. The crocodile ends with the cigar clenched in his (or her) mouth. All played for laughs."
