Fiona Gélin "Ten or so minutes in, Gelin, the only woman at a boxing match in Morocco, lights up and has three puffs, eliciting a pass from the young boxer who won the fight. Later, seated in a restaurant between her husband and his friend, she finishes a cigarette with a leisurely double inhale and exhales after slowly stubbing up. Third she dangles and lights up while rebuffing a young man’s proposal, then stubbs out after a single inhale. In a square, surrounded by coffee shops and filled with Arab men, she dangles and then lights up. In an apparent editing error, the scene is shown again from a different view. (A few times more would not have been too many for me!) Next, she lights up in the dark, wearing only a slip and seated on the bed beside her cuckolded husband. Finally, after she leaves her husband, he spots her in a bar, identifying her, at least partially, by how she is holding a cigarette."
