ep. #1.10, "Closure", Jan. 7, '00
"in the first scene of the drama [she] lights a cigarette and drags heavily
upon it. She had just suffered a brutal rape. The inhale is quite deep, a
long hold and then an exhale"
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Samantha Buck
ep. #1.15, "Entitled, Part 1", Feb. 18, '00
"she has a bit part as a waitress that the detectives are questioning.
Pours herself coffee and there is visible smoke wafting in the corner of
the frame. As one of the detectives asks her a question she picks up an
all-white and takes a sharp drag. Camera cuts to the detectives while she's
still dragging, then back to her as she slowly exhales. Not the greatest,
but it looked like she actually inhaled."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Amy Carlson
ep. #2.7, "Asunder", Dec. 1, '00
"[smokes] in interogation room"
"takes a deep drag on a long all-white in the interrogation room, in
response to being told 'there is no smoking in government buildings' - she
exhales the smoke into the detectives face and then butts out the cigarette
on the sole of her shoe."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Liza Weil
ep. #3.5, "Tangled", Oct. 26, '01
"smokes once, in a scene on a videotape, with a talk-exhale that's not
filmed all that well. There may have been other smoking scenes, I didn't
see the entire episode."

end"
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Marianne Hagan, Angela Pietropinto
ep. #6.9, "Weak", Nov. 30, '04
"The rapists' victims claimed that the rapist smelled like an ashtray, but
the main suspect didn't smoke. It turned out that the suspect (Thomas
Mathers) had earlier visited his mother Mrs. Mathers, played by actress
Angela Pietropinto, and she was a chain smoker. Mrs. Mathers held the
cigarette during her entire scene, and at times put the cigarette in her
mouth. Frankly, I didn't see much smoke come out. Mrs. Mather was the only
smoker in that particular episode, but she seemed like an amateur,
suggesting that she may not be a smoker in real life."
ep. #6.9, "Weak", Nov. 30, '04
"held a cigarette during the entire scene, but very little smoke came out
when she puffed; it was an amateurish performance."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Ashley Williams
ep. #8.15, "Haystack", Feb. 20, '07
"One scene early in the show where [she] is smoking at the police station.
Two inhales and one exhale. Not much to see, but at least one definite
inhale."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) | Adina Porter
ep. #9.8, "Fight", Nov. 20, '07
"lit a cigarette and briefly held it."
