| "Green Hornet, The" (1966) | Diana Hyland ep. #1.2, "Give 'Em Enough Rope", Sep. 16, 66 "played socialite-attorney Claudia Bromley representing a client who is suing the Daily Sentinel newspaper for libel. While visiting publisher Britt Reid, played by Van Williams, to discuss her lawsuit, Ms. Bromley takes out an all-white cigarette, which Mr. Reid gallantly lights for her, and proceeds to smoke it using a longish, very elaborate carved, bronze ivory cigarette holder. A quick ignition, followed by brief, shallow inhale and virtually invisible, shallow exhale strongly suggest that she is not IRL, but Ms. Hyland delightfully uses the cigarette holder as a prop to establish her character's high-society, high-powered aplomb as she flirts delightfully and dangerously with a bemused Mr. Reid."
