Later on, as part of your attempts at weight control, did you smoke? Your character in ["Clueless" (1996)] came out verbally in favor of smoking and said how she thought it was sexy (in the episode where Rachel Blanchard's character goes on a dinner date with a male model who smokes. How does your view compare with that of your character? Thanks in advance for any info. (Elisa) During my Goth years I definitely smoked, and when I was severely anorexic I smoked quite a bit more to control my appetite and give myself something to do so I wouldn't eat. When I was a little kid I used to say that I would never ever smoke- and then when I became a teenager, I started, which is probably the only regret I have in my life to date. It's a stupid thing to do, an incredibly difficult habit to break, and basically there aren't any positives to doing it. As far as my character on ["Clueless" (1996)] goes, ... we all know Amber had some pretty screwy ideas and opinions on things, a lot of which I found to be fun and innovative.
